Our payment method asapWas charged twice for my room. Tried to book a room direct with hotel and they told me the hotel was booked.
However they're were online through a 3ed party website. The website charged me twice double what the rooms would have cost. The error came when I entered my cc and my cc sent me a message asking to verify that it was a legit purchase. After I did that I went back to my reservation and it was fine so I started the process again.
But when I checked in to the hotel they didnt give me 2 rooms so I did not know I had reserved and paid for 2 rooms. When I asked why they stop responding

Hyatt Place New Orleans - Will not refund money
I booked a room at Hyatt Place New Orleans in January of this year through Booking.com for July 1 - July 2, 2016. I found out I could not travel during this time and cancelled within the parameters identified on the Booking.com site which stated if I cancelled 3 days prior to arrival I would get my money back. Well the Hyatt Place New Orleans is not honoring what was in the information from Booking.com. I have called the Hyatt Place and first they stated it would be taken care of, I never received the refund so I called back and then I was told it was not refundable, next I was told to email the document detailing the information from booking.com to hynogallery@***.com and low and behold when I called again they had not received the email. I am tired of the run around and would like to be refunded my $608.00. I am very angry and have written this to see if I can get resolution from someone other than the customer service representatives for the Hyatt Place

Brand new Hyatt Place Daytona Beach broke my toe!!
The brand new motel in Daytona Beach has a burm built into the parking lot about 6" from front tires of all parked cars running the full length of their lot. I was unpacking my car and ended up in this *** gulley and snapped my 2nd toe.
We had tickets for Universal Studios the next day at $500 so I hobbled around all day trying to fit in everything while gimping around. Not fun.
The front desk gave me a bandaid when I told them about it immediately. I was told the burn was made by order of the town.

The Hyatt is a hotel, not a motel. It's a parking berm, not burm and it's not the hotels fault or responsibility that you tripped because you weren't paying attention.
Is every parking lot everywhere you go not allowed to have curbs or berms??? You are ridiculous
First I would take a number of photos of the "burm" that you tripped over.
Second, I would check with the city (go to city hall) and confirm that in fact, the "burm" was required, and what dimensions are required.
and THIRDLY, I would write a letter to the legal department of the ccorporate offices of Hyatt, tell them what happened (DONT SEND ANY PHOTOS OF THE "BURM" , JUST YOUR TOES) and tell them you want to settle, and figure out for how much (make sure you ask for more, than what you would settle for) and
LASTLY, IF THEY Wont settle, find a lawyer to sue them. The lawyer should take a percentage of the case, not an hourly fee.
